| August: | New parents meet with Gretchen Kolb Cauble, Director, to review the Rocking Unicorn Nursery School Parent Handbook. |
| September: | Orientation for all new and returning students to The Rocking Unicorn |
| October: | Family Open House: an opportunity to meet other parents and classmates, chat informally with the teachers, and see art displays created by the children. |
| November: | Fall progress reports are issued |
| December: | Parents are invited to our Holiday Show, where the children share songs, poems, and fingerplays. |
| March: | Parent/Teacher Conferences. Each family receives a written report on their child’s on-going progress in the areas of social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Parents meet individually with the Director. Parents also review their child’s art portfolio and see a video of school in action! |
| April: | Children plan what will be grown in our school garden. |
| May: | Annual Invite-A-Friend to Lunch! |
| June: | Graduation ceremony for children going to kindergarten |
